Update...

They've posted a picture of the white dog on the City Pound website. He looks so sad!



I hope he finds his home soon!

    I just finished reading your story about finding the "white dog". Just wanted to say there should be more people like you out there who do make the effort to help these poor stray/lost dogs. The effort is usually overseen....

    Also just wanted to inform people that the pound is not necessarily the best place to drop off strays, they do have a time limit of a few days, if they are deemed adoptable, but if there are no owner's comming forward, they will try to contact the animal rescue groups in edmonton to take the dogs as a last resort. If their time is up, and nobody will claim it and rescue groups are full, they will destroy the dog even though it is adoptable.

    I usually contact rescue groups instead and see what the leagal process is. But all the dogs and cats have a better chance at a resuce facility as they are no kill/non profit organizations that provide care and shelter for the pets until they find a forever home!
