Clickermania

Chris has been working very intensively with Hershey over the last few weeks on clicker training. He has been diligently working with her outside in the yard doing Day 1 to 4, and we can see the improvements already. She does still bark at strangers but she calms back down right away.

Here is Chris working with Hershey in the yard.


She's enthralled in the piece of kibble that Chris is holding. After she completes the task she gets a "click" and the kibble as a treat.


In other recent times, we went camping with Hershey near Rocky Mountain House during the July long weekend, and have been taking her to the dog park. Yesterday's trip to the dog park was great - we made sure she got plenty of interaction time with the other dogs. We're also expecting Chris' parents early next month, so hopefully more training will pay off during their visit!
