Hershey is very lucky to have great friends in Ariel and Brian - two of the few people she will happily cuddle with! We've been to the dog park several times with the Tanners this winter. Ariel took these great pictures on our February outings.

Grumpy much?

Hershey has had a rather few months with lots of walks and going to the dog park on weekends. Our great friends, the Tanners, and their dogs have shown us a new park on the east end of town. It's quite nice because there are several trails and a very big open space for the dogs to play in. And while we've noticed that Hershey is getting much better with people (even letting a few pat her or talk to her), she's seemingly getting more short-tempered with other dogs. She isn't enjoying it when other dogs smell her and she gets very defensive of the Tanner dogs and her people when dogs come to say 'hello'.

We're not thrilled about the idea of "one step forward, one step back" but at least it shows that she can overcome some fears...
